2010 promises to be an interesting year… our ministry impact is spread broad and to be honest rather thin! We have a host of folks across the continents who are in regular contact with us and this is a great joy however it is the work here in the Balkans that provides the greatest challenge. Therefore we are praying for people to join our team and lend their support to our work here, whether people come for short or long term.

Antioch was an inspiration in October; it was a gathering of leaders from around Europe. It was so exciting to hear how underground style churches are penetrating difficult environments and many are coming to know Christ. We were inspired and encouraged by these folk. 70 gathered in Antioch to discuss a fresh approach to mission… we are seeking to explore and develop so much of what we have picked up.

Christmas and New Year were quiet with the family being scattered however we are looking for 2010 to be a year of great impact in the region.  

Crisis in Shkoder, Albania [Ministry amongst the poor]

We are trying to assist our co-workers who are wrestling with a disaster. This has been overshadowed by crises elsewhere, however more than 15,000 are currently homeless having lost everything due to extreme flooding.

In addition, one of our co-workers has a real heart to help the poor in Shkoder, his city in Albania. We want to ask you to sow into this. There are poor families that 40€ each will buy some basic provisions. 

We are also seeking to support a missionary family who are facing some challenge this is not so much a financial challenge other than the cost of getting there.  Every trip to Albania costs about 200€ -and we visit 4 or 5 times a year … we need your help with this also ...
